SEPTEMBER 26: Trauma-Informed Parent
In this workshop, Robert examines childhood developmental trauma through the lens of neurobiology and outlines a practical Inner Parenting framework rooted in ACA/DF principles. He explains how early developmental trauma conditions neural pathways, biases threat detection, and produces automatic dysregulation such as behavioral “pass-through”, codependency, and nervous system reactivity. Robert chronicles his personal transition from suffering to wholeness, presenting a progressive model where an evolving Inner Parent —moving across Loving, Tough-Loving, and Guardian phases—actively, consciously, and purposefully co-regulates wounded Inner Kids and Teens. By consistent, ideal daily, utilization of dedicated C2P practices such as the Trauma Signature, Safe Container, and Classic & Lite co-regulating practices, participants learn to foster neuroplasticity and weaken old reactive circuits…such as the “pass-through neural network” used as the primary example. Robert offers and emphasizes objective metrics for emotional integration, addresses interception challenges, and engages in a live audience discussion.
